
Having undertaken a Perthshire Breakfast cookery course at 'Let's Cook' in Abernethy
we are now in a
position to offer a
Perthshire Breakfast, which is now being
rolled out in Scotland.
The scheme is to promote as far as possible the use of home produced,
locally sourced and seasonal
produce from Perthshire.
We are very fortunate to have on our doorstep an unbeatable natural larder and
many local producers.
Perthshire Breakfast makes the most of this bounty.
Alyth and Blairgowrie, being the berry capital of Scotland you may expect
Strawberries, Blueberries and Raspberries in season.
There is a substantial cold buffet table, from which you may help yourself:-
Selection of Fruit juices
Wide choice of cereals include home made granola
yoghurt, grapefruit, prunes, fresh fruit
Homemade scones, muffins
Followed by a traditional Scottish breakfast.
or selection from the following:-
Bacon, free range eggs,
boiled -
scrambled -
poached or fried
butchers
sausages, black pudding, tomato cooked or fresh,
mushrooms, baked beans, fried bread.

Homemade Oatmeal Porridge
served with honey, cream or natural.
French Toast
(Brown or white bread dipped in egg and fried in butter.)
Smoked salmon scrambled eggs served with toast
Hot smoked trout fillet with a poached egg.
All served with oatcakes, toasted brown & white bread served with homemade
Marmalade and prize winning raspberry jam and local honey.
Selection of tea, fruit infusions, hot chocolate and ground coffee
